Role: Pharmacy Technician
Banding: Band 5
Location: Exeter
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 Months
Working Pattern: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch break).
Shift Pattern: 4-5 days per week, between Monday to Friday.
Rate: Day: £28.87 per hour, Night/Saturday: £36.10 per hour, Sunday/Bank Holiday: £43.32 per hour.
About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Exeter. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medicines within the prison, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services to inmates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Dispensing medications and managing stock levels.
* Providing advice and support to healthcare staff and inmates.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
* ACT qualification or willing to work towards qualification.
* Must be a registered with GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
* NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Services or equivalent.
* Minimum of 6 months hospital experience.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Labelling and dispensing experience and knowledge of JAC computer system.
* Experience of undertaking role of Medicines.
