Job Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter & Operator to join a busy manufacturing site. This role is crucial to our operations, taking responsibility for programming, setting, and running CNC milling machines to produce high-precision parts. The successful candidate will be confident working with Tufnol and a range of metals, and will bring strong experience in first-operation milling within an aerospace or high-tolerance engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: * Program, set, and run 1st Operation CNC Mills, including Bridgeport (Heidenheim controls) and Haas (Fanuc controls). * Set and run additional machinery where required, including lathes, sliding/fixed head machines, and 2nd operations equipment such as grinders, thread rollers, and drill banks. * Handle materials including Aluminium, stainless steels, Inconel, and Tufnol. * Carry out first-off inspections and job run checks for 1st and 2nd operations parts. * Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency, aiming to reduce scrap and rework. * Ensure machines are maintained and daily checks completed, supporting On-Time Delivery and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). * Work collaboratively to improve productivity and efficiency, adhering to health and safety regulations and aerospace standards.
