About the Role:

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Operations Support Manager to play a crucial role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our site operations. This is a varied and hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys making a real impact across health & safety, HR, training, and continuous improvement.

You’ll be the go-to person for front-line support on safety matters, HR processes, training and general site administration, helping to ensure that our operational standards remain high and our teams are well supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Health & Safety

* Be the first point of contact for health & safety on site.
* Conduct and maintain risk assessments and support welfare initiatives.
* Track and report safety KPIs, escalating issues where appropriate.
* Support investigations and ensure accurate safety records.
* Liaise with the Group Functional Safety Expert for guidance and alignment.

Human Resources

* Generate HR documentation including contracts and letters.
* Maintain accurate timesheets for payroll processing.
* Produce HR reports, including absence tracking.
* Support onboarding of new starters and maintain employee records.
* Collaborate with the central HR team to ensure consistency and compliance.

Training

* We’re passionate about investing in our people, including creating and delivering effective training systems and content that empower our teams to grow and succeed.
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Maintain the site skills matrix and coordinate training needs.
* Organise internal and external training activities.
* Track compliance and regulatory training.
* Deliver in-house training sessions where appropriate.

Continuous Improvement

* Support operational improvement initiatives and track their impact.
* Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Contribute to projects that focus on waste reduction, efficiency, and quality.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all teams.

General Administration

* Manage office supplies and service contracts.
* Support general admin tasks including scheduling, filing, and data entry.
* Help ensure smooth day-to-day operational support across departments.

What We’re Looking For:

* A passion for developing and delivering engaging training systems and content.
* Experience in an operational support or administration role, ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
* A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Working knowledge of health & safety or HR processes is a plus.
* Confidence in using systems and managing data (HR systems, Excel, etc.).
* A team player who can work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
