Job Description
We are growing our consulting team and looking for Lead F&O Consultants, specialising in Commerce and Point of Sale to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family.
The main areas of responsibility for a Lead Functional Consultant at Hitachi Solutions are:
1. Developing long lasting and high-quality business relationships with clients by instilling trust and confidence.
2. Working directly with clients to understand their business processes and determining project deliverables.
3. Utilising specialist knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics product to support the development and expansion of Dynamics Finance & Operations.
4. Utilising specialist knowledge of the retail/commerce industry.
5. Developing original approaches to improve or replace existing processes and procedures.
6. Taking ownership of the design of bespoke F&O solutions, which may include complex integrations or significant module changes or even designing new modules.
7. Writing complex functional specifications.
8. Acting as the translation point between functional and technical teams so that solutions can be developed.
9. Effectively managing large work streams to stay within scope, meet or exceed project schedule and remain within the approved budget.
10. Guiding Project Managers and keeping them informed.
Qualifications
11. A strong ERP background
12. A working knowledge of best practices in the retail and commerce industry.
13. A demonstrable specialism within the commerce module, and with strong working knowledge of Point of Sale.
14. A logical approach to problem solving and structured approach to introducing change into operational systems
15. At least 2 full life cycle implementations.
16. A strong knowledge of methodologies around ERP implementations.
17. Strong stakeholder, and people management skills.
18. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
