Main duties of the job
For you, that will mean planning and implementing care that provides our residents with a sense of security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know our residents and their families, helping to ensure we deliver truly personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care and influencing the team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at the end of life, or communicating with families, you will do so with kindness. Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will provide social and recreational activities, administer medication, and maintain accurate records.

Job responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant, kindness is fundamental. You will be involved in caring for residents with dementia and other needs, ensuring personalized care plans, leading a team, and maintaining high standards. Your role includes record-keeping, supporting residents' physical and mental wellbeing, and working with the team to deliver compassionate care. Qualifications include a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and a willingness to work towards Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care is preferred. Your positive energy, communication skills, and time management are essential.
