About The Team
Our Global SMB Learning & Development team trains our Sales and Operations colleagues serving SMB customers across the UK and ROI. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance knowledge and skills, aiming to deliver engaging, impactful, and growth-supportive learning experiences.
What you’ll be doing
The Senior Sales and Operations Trainer will act as a liaison with external partners, managing relationships, identifying training needs, and designing and delivering training programs. Responsibilities include educating partnership employees on products and services, managing referral processes, providing leadership and mentorship, and continuously improving training programs based on industry trends.
What you’ll own
Training Development And Delivery
* Deliver onboarding and ongoing training, including advanced sales skills and compliance
* Plan and execute pre-course activities
* Develop new training programs and content
* Use various delivery methods
* Maintain instructor credibility and a safe learning environment
* Administer assessments and improve training effectiveness
* Support coaching and feedback for leaders and employees
Consulting And Needs Assessment
* Understand training needs and define learning objectives
* Consult with stakeholders to set clear outcomes
* Conduct observations to understand business strategies and needs
* Research insights for business partners
Partnership And Collaboration
* Liaise between partners and Worldpay teams
* Educate partnership employees on products and services
* Manage referral processes
* Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
* Monitor referral activities for improvements
Leadership And Mentorship
* Conduct coaching sessions
* Participate in leadership meetings
* Handle administrative responsibilities
* Complete trainer certifications
Additional Activities
* Lead and participate in L&D projects
* Collaborate on training initiatives
* Stay updated with industry trends
* Evaluate and improve training programs
* Contribute to L&D strategies
Skills And Qualifications
* Minimum 5+ years in Learning & Development
* Experience in sales and operations training
* Facilitation skills (classroom & virtual)
* Leadership and communication skills
* Data analysis and insight development
* Organizational and time management skills
* Proficiency with training software and tools
* Understanding of referral models and partnerships
* Interpersonal skills and relationship-building
* Ability to create engaging training content
* Experience with training and CRM systems
