A new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Woodlands, Doncaster area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This care home provides luxury care accommodation, supported by a service that supports an independent lifestyle. The team is experienced in residential and nursing provision, while also being trained to specialise in dementia care.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties:
1. Provide personal care and support with reference to individual care plans.
2. Provide care through the night, checking residents at regular intervals according to their care plan.
3. Respond promptly to calls for assistance while respecting residents' dignity.
4. Engage in conversations to help maintain residents' sense of identity; upholding dignity at all times.
5. Assess and plan nursing care requirements.
6. Monitor and administer medications.
7. Take residents' samples, pulses, temperatures, and blood pressures.
8. Write records.
9. Supervise junior staff as well as manage the unit.
10. Provide emotional support to residents and relatives.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Team Player.
2. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
3. Ability to work on own initiative.
4. Must be trained to administer medication.
5. Must have Dementia Experience.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of GBP19.00 per hour, with an annual salary of up to GBP43,472 per annum.
