Key Responsibilities
: Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on all electrical systems
: Maintain and fault:find on lighting systems, including gallery and display lighting
: Support power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems
: Ensure lighting levels and systems meet the specific requirements of exhibition spaces
: Respond quickly to faults to avoid disruption to visitors and exhibitions
: Ensure all work complies with health and safety and statutory regulations
: Maintain accurate logbooks and compliance records
: Work closely with site management and specialist contractors when required

Essential:
: Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ / C and G Level 3 or equivalent)
: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
: Experience within commercial or high:end environments
: Strong fault:finding and diagnostic skills
: A professional approach and good communication skills
Desirable:
: Experience working in galleries, museums, or heritage buildings
: Familiarity with specialist lighting systems or controls
: Basic multi:skilled knowledge (mechanical support)
