Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to be the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all.
Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally.
About The Role
We’re on the lookout for a Procurement Manager - Technology to help us bring that vision to even more travellers. This is an exciting time to join our Finance Tribe and be a key contributor to the evolution of our rapidly evolving procurement function. You’ll develop and deliver procurement and category strategy in a relatively 'greenfield' procurement environment. In addition, this role provides an excellent opportunity for dynamic individuals to make a real impact and to work with senior management on challenging and complex projects, delivering with autonomy, impact and visibility.
What You’ll Be Doing

 * Managing Risk & ESG: Drive third party risk management with Security, Privacy and Compliance and embed sustainable procurement and supplier diversity goals into sourcing and SRM.
 * SRM & performance: Lead QBRs, track SLAs/KPIs, manage escalations, and run improvement and innovation roadmaps with strategic suppliers.
 * Optimising consumption: Partner with Engineering/IT/FinOps to reduce SaaS and cloud TCO (license utilisation, tiering, commitments, trueups/downs) and curb shadow IT / duplicative tools.
 * Process & tools: Help evolve procurement policies, playbooks, templates and approval flows as a key part of the wider Procurement Team; champion adoption of eSourcing/S2P and CLM.
 * Stakeholder leadership: Be a trusted advisor to senior leaders—framing problems crisply, surfacing market insight, and influencing decisions with clear commercial storytelling.
 * Benefits tracking: Work within established benefits tracking processes to capture all the savings and value add associated with the Procurement activity you deliver (savings, avoidance, TCO, risk reduction, innovation outcomes), work closely with finance on signoff of any benefits.
About You
 * Hands‑on: Hands on operator who moves fast and brings others with you.
 * Procurement proven: Strong experience in fast paced, high growth environments; end‑to‑end ownership without direct reports.
 * Tech sourcing depth: Comfortable across SaaS, Cloud, Data/AI, InfoSec, Colleague IT and other technology categories. Recent experience of delivering complex sourcing activity in the technology space.
 * Contract fluent: Robust understanding of contracts and key clauses (IPR/licensing, SLAs, liability/indemnity, audit, termination) and the ability to closely partner with Legal.
 * Commercially astute—highly confident in negotiation, with the ability to influence both suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver the absolute greatest value for Skyscanner.
 * Risk aware: Practical grip on supplier risk and due diligence with a detailed understanding of the wider risk environment and its impact on supply chain resilience.
 * Data savvy: Build TCO models, baseline spend, quantify benefits, and make data driven decisions.

 * Independent & resilient: Self‑directed, able to switch between strategy and execution, and deliver repeatable results.
 * Travel ready: Willing to travel for key supplier and stakeholder engagements.
 * Nice to have: MCIPS/CPSM, FinOps collaboration experience, knowledge of ISO 20400, and broad understanding of modern IT infrastructure/software delivery.
