Contract role, Local Authority Transport Services
We are recruiting for experienced Local Authority Transport Officer in Leicestershire
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and procure passenger transport services using both manual and ICT systems.
2. Support efficiency reviews, including season ticket purchases and fare-paying passenger transport.
3. Liaise with internal fleet management and external contractors to ensure compliance with current standards.
4. Provide guidance on the use and maintenance of specialist passenger transport equipment.
5. Ensure all contracted vehicles are appropriately licensed and insured.
6. Maintain accurate records and transport databases
7. You will need proven experience in transport planning.
