A Big 4 Accounting Practice is recruiting for multiple Equity Reward Assistant Managers. The position can be located at any of their offices, including: Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Newcastle upon Tyne, Nottingham, Reading, and Watford.
The Rewards division is a fast-growing area of the firm. The team is seeking to recruit multiple Equity Reward Tax specialists who are eager to be part of this exciting journey. The firm offers flexible working arrangements of 1-3 days per week in the office, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, options to buy/sell holiday, a discretionary yearly bonus, an annual benefits allowance, and more.
Your responsibilities as an Equity Reward Assistant Manager will include:
1. Working closely with senior leaders to support and lead initiatives.
2. Designing and structuring new equity or cash-based incentive plans, considering UK and overseas tax, commercial, and accounting impacts, and reviewing existing plans for relevance.
3. Advising on the tax implications of corporate transactions on compensation and benefits plans, and on the tax structuring of transactions.
4. Designing plans for the wider workforce, including employee share purchase plans.
5. Advising Remuneration Committees and management on reward strategy, shareholder consultation, corporate governance, pay regulation, ESG regulation, and practices.
6. Assisting with drafting Director's Remuneration Reports.
7. Conducting pay and benefits benchmarking.
8. Maintaining awareness of market trends, competitor activities, products, and services.
9. Delegating work to and reviewing work carried out by junior team members from both technical and commercial perspectives.
10. Training and developing junior team members in technical and non-technical areas.
11. Assisting in developing innovative solutions and opportunities for clients and participating in initiatives to bring those solutions to market.
About you:
* ATT and/or CTA/ACA/Legal qualification (partially completed or qualified; study support available).
* Strong technical and client service skills, along with business development acumen.
* Confident communicator and team player.
* Ability to build lasting relationships internally and externally.
