An exciting opportunity is available within the Human Resources and Organisational Development division as an Assistant HR Information Officer. This varied and rewarding role supports key HR processes that directly impact staff experience and organisational effectiveness. You will be coordinate the Council’s Job Evaluation scheme, supporting panel Chairs by preparing documents for panel, collating queries and feeding back to managers. You will also support the Council’s honorarium process by managing the honorarium inbox and processing forms, and provide administrative support to the HR Data and Management Information service. You will coordinate the Council’s Job Evaluation (JE) scheme, including preparing documentation for panels, managing the JE inbox, and liaising with managers to ensure smooth and timely evaluations. You will also support the honorarium process, reviewing requests, managing the inbox, and ensuring compliance with policy. You will also provide administrative support to the wider service. We’re looking for someone who: • Has excellent organisational and communication skills • Can handle sensitive pay-related information with discretion • Enjoys working collaboratively across teams Experience in job evaluation is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided. Candidates should have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality, as will be handling sensitive pay information. Dealing with managers and staff from across the organisation, requiring good communication and listening skills.
