About the Role Our Employment Team is growing, and we’re looking for an Employment Paralegal to join our friendly, high-performing department. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Paralegal, ideally with a year's experience in this sector, to join our dynamic and successful Employment department. Alongside your technical expertise, excellent communication skills and a team player attitude are essential in order that we can maintain the great relationships we have built up with our clients both internally and externally, as well as the ability to effectively manage client expectations and provide an exceptional level of client care. Responsibilities Responsible for assisting in providing high quality, timely, professional advice and representation for claimant and respondent clients Responsible for assisting in the preparation and drafting of documents such as Form ET1 and ET3, witness statements, briefing counsel and schedules of loss Responsible for assisting in attending clients, taking instructions and advising under supervision. Generally assisting in conducting files efficiently whilst maintaining the confidentiality of all the Company’s and client’s documents and information at all times. Responsible for assisting other employment fee earners on their files where required Responsible for actively proposing and participating in agreed marketing initiatives Qualifications Law degree (or equivalent) LPC or CILEX qualification (or currently studying) – desirable Required Skills Highly organised and able to meet deadlines Strong client service focus Good interpersonal skills – approachable and respectful Proactive and able to use initiative Team player, willing to support colleagues Enthusiastic with a flexible approach Preferred Skills Previous office experience and ability to work well in a team Experience in employment law and working to targets – desirable Pay range and compensation package £24,000 - £29,500 dependent on experience.
