Caledonia Recruitment are currently assisting a leading Automotive company on their look for a Warranty Specialist. The right person must have e xperience of working within a Warranty department in the automotive sector to prepare, qualify and submit customer warranty and repair files efficiently, whilst coordinating with technicians in a timely manner. To present a well-groomed and professional image Maintain an active interest in Company developments. To live and promote the company values. Experience in the use of DMS systems and Microsoft is essential. Present a high level of attention to detail and have a flexible approach to workload. Key responsibilities: Prepare and maintain customer warranty and repair files, ensuring these are fit for audit purposes by both internal and external auditors. Code and cost warranty and repair invoices and submit accordingly. Build relationships with all staff members, repairers, and manufacturer reps. Update warranty and cash account on a weekly basis, notifying Service Manager and accounts department of reasons for any over or under payments. Deal with any rejected claims adhering to any manufacturers time restraints. Submit prior approvals or goodwill requests to the manufacturer. Input & monitor return of warranty parts in line with manufacturers requirements. Provide general administrative support to the department. Perform any other duties as requested that are consistent with the job description. Salary is £32k per annum and hours would be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. The role would be fully on site.
