Electrical Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established building services consultancy who have been providing their highly technical expertise to the built environment for 50 years. They are on the lookout for an intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Leamington Spa to work on a range of construction projects within the healthcare, commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
Role responsibilities for an Electrical Design Engineer include:
1. Taking the lead as the main electrical engineer on projects, assessing the scope and approach for mechanical aspects of the project
2. Assign office-based work and CAD work to the more junior members of the team
3. Undertake site survey. Produce specifications, and regularly attend team meetings
4. Work alongside clients and contractors, whilst managing project deadlines and ensure they are delivered.
5. Mentor the more junior members of the design team
The ideal electrical design engineer will have:
6. Degree of higher education qualification within a building services or related discipline
7. Relevant experience within building services or electrical design engineering role
8. Experience with industry relevant software such as Revit, Dialux, and CAD
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills
