Finance Transformation Business Analyst - Tax Location: London Contract Type: Contract Are you an experienced Tax Business Analyst with a passion for transformation? We're seeking a proactive individual to lead tax-related change initiatives within a major financial institution's EMEA Finance division. This role focuses on FATCA, CRS, and UK VAT compliance across a multi-entity environment, driving process improvements, data governance, and solution design. What You'll Do Deliver key projects including: VAT Transformation - Improve efficiency, data validation, and transparency in returns processing. FATCA/CRS Compliance - Enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy. Act as the primary BA for tax projects, supporting other finance initiatives as needed. Define requirements, design solutions, and manage testing across the full project lifecycle. Partner with IT and Architecture teams to implement tax engines and reporting solutions. Lead stakeholder engagement and ensure robust governance and risk management. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Tax Business Analyst in banking or consultancy. Strong knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and UK VAT obligations. Solid understanding of accounting principles and multi-GAAP environments. Hands-on experience with finance platforms (Oracle GL/Subledger, LoanIQ, Murex) and data tools (Snowflake, BI solutions). Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
