Carrier now has an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (Service), to focus on the London area.
What will I be doing?
* Establishing prospects and developing professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggest suitable products and/or services.
* Engaging in continuous professional development through company-provided and on-the-job training, covering areas like business and finance, marketing, sales process and strategy, and public speaking.
* Coordinating and/or participating in trade shows and marketing/sales seminars as required.
* Pricing equipment & service solutions to prospective customers to grow the business.
* Developing new sales within the geographical area, including expanding service offerings with existing clients.
* Evaluating market potential and identifying sales opportunities in related sectors.
* Estimating project opportunities and preparing proposals with contractors, FM, M&E, and building owners.
* Coordinating with vendors and sub-contractors.
* Completing sales calls/meetings to generate new business and strengthen existing relationships.
* Presenting solutions to customers to secure new contracts.
Requirements
We seek candidates who are effective communicators (verbal, written, presentation), self-motivated, target-oriented, with strong time management and organizational skills, negotiation skills, strategic planning abilities, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Ability to work within a team supporting other departments to benefit the overall business, with a commitment to customer service excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
* Strong service sales background.
* Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump marketplace is a bonus or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire relevant knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to make calls to prospective customers, handle inquiries, and convert them into project wins and revenue.
* UK Driving Licence.
* IT literacy with MS Office skills.
