About Our Client
The client is a reputable resident-managed housing association based in central London
Job Description
1. Responsive plumbing repairs
2. Provide recommendations
3. Identify the correct materials
4. Liaise with tenants
5. Carry out any necessary preparatory work needed
6. Basic carpentry (i.e. boxing in)
7. Liaise with residents, staff and ensure appointments are kept and access arrangements are handled in a proper and timely matter
8. Record maintenance issues
9. Respond to emergencies
10. Compliance handling
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate has a mechanical qualification (NVQ 2 or City & Guilds).
The successful candidate has preferably worked in the domestic space before.
The successful candidate has both a mechanical and carpentry based understanding.
The successful candidate has a driver's license.
Ideally, the successful candidate does not live more than 20 miles from central London due to potential call out and the van being supplied.
