Physiotherapy Assistant – 12 Month Fixed Term
Bath Clinic – 37.5 Hours & Fixed Term – Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include
* Assist with the delivery of physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist.
* Deliver pre‑admission appointments and EMPT appointments.
* Support patients with prescribed exercises, mobility practice, and therapeutic activities in a safe and compassionate manner.
* Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use.
* Support patients in the safe use of mobility aids, walking frames, or other therapy tools.
* Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy, helping build confidence and engagement.
* Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
* Experience working in a healthcare, care, or rehabilitation setting.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* A caring, patient‑focused approach and commitment to promoting independence.
* Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
