Quality Supervisor – Glasgow

Manufacturing organisation in Glasgow is looking for a proactive Quality Supervisor to oversee daily QC operations and raise quality standards across the production environment. If you’re a strong leader with a passion for quality excellence, this role offers the chance to make a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
🔹 Leading the day‑to‑day operations of the Quality Control department
🔹 Implementing and championing quality assurance processes across safety, production, and inspection
🔹 Mentoring and developing the QC team, setting clear goals and driving high performance
🔹 Managing sampling, inspections, and ensuring accurate documentation
🔹 Investigating quality issues and customer complaints, supporting effective corrective actions
🔹 Working alongside Production Supervisors to embed quality into all manufacturing stages
🔹 Conducting internal audits and supporting the shift from paper‑based to digital quality systems
🔹 Promoting safe working practices aligned with HSE guidelines
🔹 Overseeing calibration and maintenance of QC equipment
🔹 Supporting the development of testing facilities and updates to product drawings
What You’ll Bring
✔ Proven supervisory or team‑lead experience
✔ Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
✔ High proficiency with Microsoft Office & Visio
✔ Skilled in measuring equipment with formal auditing training
✔ Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., BS EN)
✔ Experience in QC, administration, and manufacturing environments
✔ Familiarity with IQM, MacData, or Cimpac (advantageous but not essential)
