IT Support Technician I S Technologies are a growing IT support and technology business established over 24 years ago. Above all, you must have a sense of pride in your work. Job Role: Provide telephone, remote and on-site (where required) support to customers. Use the internal time management system to record actions. Accurately document actions and follow configuration procedures. Follow through with support actions and escalate when required. Set up and configure IT equipment including PCs, laptops, routers, etc. Carry out proactive maintenance tasks. Software updates, optimise performance, etc. Manage and test backups. Carry out project-based tasks and plan solutions. Skills and Experience: At least 4 years experience in a similar role. Fluent in English, both written and verbal Excellent phone manner and communication skills Be honest and reliable. Be able to work as part of a team as well as manage ones own time. Excellent understanding of networks and core components. Microsoft Windows server and client OS. Installation, policy, and security. Microsoft Office 365 admin. Entra, Azure and cloud management. iOS and Mac OS. Cyber security aware: Antivirus solutions and firewall configuration. Problem solving and delivery focused approach. Show genuine interest in subject matter. Full UK driving license and own car. 9am to 5pm. Primarily office based.
