Overview
Company Description: Potters Resorts is recruiting for a Leisure Club Assistant at Five Lakes, the UK's only all-inclusive resort. We are looking for team players with brilliant interpersonal skills, energy, enthusiasm, and a customer-focused approach. Experience in a face-to-face customer service role is preferred.
Responsibilities
* Provide a friendly service to guests at all times.
* Have a robust understanding of the day-to-day operation of a Leisure Club, including Pool and Gym facilities.
* Assist the Leisure & Spa Manager by delivering exceptional customer service, building rapport with resident guests, and leading and motivating the Leisure team to maintain 5-star service standards.
* Carry out regular audits and quality checks on Leisure Club, Gym, and Swimming Pool facilities; address shortfalls and ensure 5-star operational standards are maintained.
* Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in poolside areas, changing rooms, sport and leisure facilities, gym, and spectator areas.
* Ensure guest and team safety by supporting compliance with health and safety standards and systems, meeting legal obligations, and safeguarding equipment, chemicals, and plant rooms.
* You will take personal pride in: providing friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic service; delivering outstanding leisure and gym facilities; being approachable and supportive to all team members; being guest-focused and building rapport with residential guests as well as leisure and member guests; having keen attention to detail; having excellent organisational skills; taking responsibility for personal and professional development; promoting teamwork and respect among colleagues.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Customer service experience is essential.
Hours, Structure and Pay
* Leisure Club is open from 7:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
* Work 5 days out of 7 to include weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
* 40 hours per week.
* Rates of pay (based on age): £12.21 per hour (over 21); £10.00 per hour (18–20); £9.00 per hour (16–17).
