We are looking for an Associate to join our highly regarded Employment team in Bristol, where we are consistently ranked in the top tier by The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for more than 20 years.
The Practice
The team provides a full service to clients in the UK and internationally, covering HR support and employment matters, employee disputes, advisory, employment litigation, corporate transactions, and working closely with our Incentives, Business Immigration, Pensions and Health & Safety practices. We advise on TUPE and general transactional matters both domestically and on international projects.
Exceptional Technological Support
The team collaborates with our dedicated Osborne Clarke Solutions team to harness legal tech and AI at the cutting edge.
International
With extensive experience in European international employment law, we represent truly international clients across nine other jurisdictions and offer cross‑border employment projects. Our lawyers can participate in our international secondment programme for additional growth.
Complex Work
We are well known for complex issues such as restructuring, restrictive covenants, reputational risk management and data privacy. Our sectors include financial services, telecoms, technology, recruitment, retail, media & advertising.

The Team
The Bristol team is comprised of 4 Partners, 2 Legal Directors, 2 Associate Directors, 2 Senior Associates, 5 Associates, 1 Trainee Solicitor and 1 Solicitor Apprentice.
Technical Skills & Experience
We require a strong academic record, training, commercial acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic advice across a fast‑moving caseload. While we seek an Associate, we consider candidates with varying levels of experience.
