JOB TITLE: Private Banking Manager - Private Clients East England

LOCATION(S): Cambridge, Norfolk, Bedford, Peterborough (remote)

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: This is a remote working role covering Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and parts of Bedfordshire.

About this opportunity

Here at Lloyds Banking Group, we're looking for a Private Banking Manager, who'll be responsible for running and on-boarding Ultra High Net Worth and high-profile clients within the Lloyds Mayfair Private Clients, UK regional team covering the East of England.

UK Private Banking, which is part of the Consumer Relationships Division, seeks to help customers to achieve their financial goals by constructing robust financial plans tailored to each customer's individual circumstances.

The current client set is diverse covering East Anglia, Peterborough, Luton, Chelmsford, Cambridge and Colchester areas. The undertaking of regular banking reviews, ensuring the clients' day to day banking and lending needs are met is critical. Many of these Private Clients are multi-banked and the deposits held are significant. Retention of these deposits and the attraction of new funds is a fundamental aspect of this role, as the monies and relationships are under constant challenge from competitors.

The majority of our team are currently working remotely however, we'll need you to be based in or close to the location area described above as this is where your portfolio will be focussed. You'll need to conduct customer meetings either face to face, virtually or by telephone to meet the needs of our customers so regular travel will be required for this role.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Proactive and reactive meetings with new and existing High Net Worth clients on your set to answer, resolve and facilitate solutions for their wider personal banking and lending needs.

2. Continuous Relationship Management via regular contact with your set of High-Net-Worth Clients

3. Working closely with and influencing key colleagues across the Group and external third party partner providers such as Gallaghers Insurance, Schroders Personal Wealth and Cazenove Capital to build positive relationships, collaborating with them to ensure a seamless approach to client engagement and onboarding

4. Continuous focus on understanding your own “business” and how you can grow this.

5. Accountable for accurate and compliant use of all reporting tools with quality data input to systems that provide MI

6. Building up expertise and knowledge to maintain and develop your ongoing relationships with your clients across all areas of Lloyds Banking Group

Skills we’re looking for

7. Proficient and experienced Relationship Manager, within banking or financial planning.

8. A proven understanding of the Financial markets and industry.

9. Skilled at planning and prioritising work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals

10. Customer and colleague management experience

11. Analytical skills

12. Full driving licensee, as regular travel, including to client homes will be required.

Desirable

13. Banking / Chartered Private Banker Qualification
