The Role
As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will deliver high-quality professional services across a variety of projects. You will provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of building surveying, including contract administration, dilapidations, condition surveys, and project management. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed building surveys and produce comprehensive reports.
* Oversee and manage repair, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
* Provide expert advice on dilapidations, building defects, and property issues.
* Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards are met.
* Support and mentor junior surveyors and trainees, maximising their development opportunities.
* Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
* MRICS qualification with a proven track record in building surveying.
* Strong technical knowledge of building construction, regulations, and industry best practices.
* Experience managing projects and leading teams.
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
