We are looking for a motivated and self-driven person looking to kickstart a career in HR!
This exciting opportunity to join our growing People Team would be ideal for someone who is taking their first steps into the exciting world of HR, or who has some previous experience in a HR Administration or Assistant role and is now looking to develop their skills across all areas of people practice.

This role will be based in our People Office at the Holiday Inn Rugby-Northampton.
Your Role
This exciting and varied role will give you the opportunity to get involved in all areas of people practice.
You will work closely with our specialists in HR Operations, Recruitment, Talent Development and Payroll, providing support throughout the whole employee lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to get involved in project work and develop your expertise across your own areas of interest.
Should you wish to develop further, you will have the opportunity to complete a funded apprenticeship programme in an area of people practice as part of your role.(subject to apprenticeship criteria)
Some things you will be working on day to day include:
* Delivering an exceptional onboarding experience to our new team members, from keeping in touch with them throughout their onboarding journey to supporting the delivery of our Welcome workshops and adding our new employees to the HR system
* Support with internal and external social channels to promote employee engagement
* Support engagement of our company reward and recognition schemes
* Assist with payroll processing
* Involvement with outreach and partnership work and attending career fairs to drive our employer brand
* Reviewing and updating company policies and processes
* Administrating systems relating to all HR functions

About You
* You are keen to develop your skills within the people profession.
* You have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* You are an effective communicator, with the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across the business.
* You take a proactive and curious approach to your work.
* You are a team player with great interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in an administration or HR role is advantageous but not essential.
