The Council are seeking Casual Dryside Leisure Assistants to work across all our Leisure World Sports facilities.
Duties of the role
As an essential member of the Leisure World team, you will play a major role as part of our junior holiday programme team, which will involve delivering and supervising sports and fun activities to children during the school holidays.
Duties will include setting up and packing away various sports equipment, children weekend birthday parties, cleaning and assisting customers.
You will also assist Duty Officers and Camp Supervisors with the day-to-day operational running of the sports facilities and holiday camps.
Qualifications and skills required
To be successful in this role, you will need knowledge and experience of customer care, worked with adults and children, can work individually or as part of a team, be flexible, enthusiastic and show good initiative.
An understanding of health and safety as well as safeguarding and wellbeing will also be an advantage.
Knowledge of sports, games and activities as well as sports specific qualifications and first aid at work qualification would also be desirable.
