Overview

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR who are a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offers challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.


Responsibilities

* Preparation of an integrated FEED phase and EPCI phase schedules to identify key activities during engineering development, procurement, construction and commissioning; interface with others; overall duration of the work; and critical work sequences to enable successful completion.
* Preparation and update of Level 1, 2 and Level 3 schedules on a monthly basis for reporting progress.
* Developing project interface schedules to report the status of interfaces.
* Develop, update and maintain systems and procedures relating to Basis of Schedule including Project Planning, Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting, Progress Trending, and Progress Certification, consistent with project requirements.
* Develop and maintain the overall project progress reporting system.
* Prepare and conduct in-depth reviews and analysis relating to Planning, Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Reporting, Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), and Productivity Analysis.
* Identify areas of concern impacting the project completion schedule and advise Project Managers on proposed corrective actions.
* Perform Critical Path Analysis and report any areas of concern to the Project Management team.
* Prepare resource deployment plans and validate their adequacy for meeting completion schedules based on productivity rates; recommend enhancements where required.
* Prepare schedule impact assessments for variation requests/claims for extension of project schedule and provide recommendations to Project Management for approval.
* Prepare Schedule Risk Analysis with mitigation measures and ensure timely implementation of agreed migration measures.
* Identify/establish KPI’s for all ongoing projects for each year in consultation with Project Managers, and maintain follow-up with integrated Project Management teams to ensure KPI achievement as planned.
* Prepare Monthly Progress Reports and detailed write-ups/presentations for Meetings and Board Advisory Committee (BAC) Meetings.
* Provide inputs to Lead Engineer, Cost Control to facilitate preparation of annual budgets and provide justifications for schedule variations as required.


Generic Accountabilities

* Supervision: Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
* Training: Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills to enable proficiency on the job and deliver section objectives.
* Budgets: Provide input for Section/Department budgets and assist in implementation of approved Budgets and work plans to deliver Section objectives; investigate and highlight significant variances to support performance and cost control.
* Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures: Implement approved policies, processes, systems, quality standards and procedures to support execution in line with Client and international standards.
* Performance Management: Contribute to achieving approved Performance Objectives for the Section/Department aligned with Client Performance framework.
* Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve operational processes; identify improvements in internal processes against best practices to define intelligent solutions.
* Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability: Comply with HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and Client Code of Practices.
* Reports: Provide inputs to prepare Management Information System progress reports.


Communications & Working Relationships

* Internal: Daily direct liaison with all engineering, operations and project disciplines as well as with Client.
* External: Frequent contact with Consultants/Contractors/Client to meet reporting requirements.


Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

* Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills: Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry; LNG projects experience preferred; 5 years in a similar position.
* Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency with planning and scheduling software; strong planning and attention to detail; good communication and presentation skills; strong written and spoken English.
* Professional Certifications: Project Scheduling Professional (PSP) Certification or equivalent.
* Technical Competencies: Not mandatory but any relevant Certification like Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar would be an advantage.
