Paediatric Dietitian Role
As a Paediatric Dietitian, you will see patients with diabetes and their families on the ward during admissions, including new diagnoses, emergencies, and planned stabilisation. You will also attend three-monthly consultant-led MDT clinics across the area, be present at enhanced care MDT clinics, education sessions, and at home/school visits as required.
You will manage a general outpatient paediatric caseload and deliver specialist dietary advice for children with conditions such as faltering growth, food allergies, and restrictive diets through face-to-face clinics across the county, as well as via telephone and video consultations.
Candidate Profile
You should be passionate about working with children and their families. This role is ideal for a Dietitian with some experience in diabetes and/or paediatrics who wishes to expand their skills. Alternatively, it offers an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian with good transferable skills to develop their paediatric experience. Training and support will be provided upon commencement.
