Care Assistant responsibilities:
Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.
Duties can include:
* Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
* Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
* Accompanying to appointments or shopping
* Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
* Medication prompts
The care we provide at Home Instead is 7 days per week. We are flexible around hours; we do require the alternate weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Hours are buildable to your desired amount.
Qualifications
You don't need prior experience - we recruit people of all ages who have a positive attitude and are passionate about providing outstanding care. We encourage people from different sectors to apply, whether that is: retail, hospitality, childcare, customer service, delivery driving. We provide continuous training from the start.
