Michelin-Starred Restaurant | 5 AA Rosettes | Devon

£46,000 OTE (£38,000 Base + c. £8,000 Tronc)
48 Hours | 5 Days | Live-In Available

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef to join one of the UK’s most prestigious luxury hospitality destinations.

Operating at Michelin-star level and 5 AA Rosettes, this is a high-performance kitchen delivering refined, seasonal menus within a world-class setting — combining precision, creativity and consistency at the highest level.

The Role

Working closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous, you will play a key role in delivering food to the highest standard while supporting the wider brigade.

You will:

* Support the senior team in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Contribute to the development of seasonal menus and dishes
* Maintain consistency, precision and execution across all services
* Act as a key link between kitchen and front-of-house teams
* Train, mentor and support junior chefs
* Assist with stock control, organisation and kitchen structure
* Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and discipline

This is a hands-on role requiring both strong technical ability and leadership presence.

The Package

* £38,000 base salary
* Generous tronc (c. £8,000 per year)
* Total earnings circa £46,000
* 48-hour contract across 5 days
* Live-in accommodation available
* 28 days holiday
* Staff meals on duty

* Staff Bed & Breakfast rate
* Special staff Relais & Châteaux rate
* Training, development and progression within a leading luxury group

The Ideal Candidate

* Current Junior Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP ready to step up
* Background in Michelin-star or high-Rosette kitchens
* Strong technical ability and attention to detail
* Confident supporting and helping lead a brigade
* Calm, organised and consistent under pressure
* Ambitious and driven to progress within top-level kitchens
