PositionOverview:
Ourclient are seeking a highly skilled Audit Assistant Manager to leadtheir audit team reporting direct into a Partner at the practice.As an integral part of the firm you will oversee audit engagementsdrive process improvements and contribute to the strategic visionof thepractice.
Responsibilities:
* Leadand manage audit engagements for a variety of clients acrossdifferent industries ensuring compliance with regulatoryrequirements and professionalstandards.
* Developand maintain strong client relationships serving as a trustedadvisor on audit matters and providing valuable insights to enhancetheir businessoperations.
* Coordinateaudit planning execution and reporting processes including riskassessment materiality determination and audittesting.
* Reviewand evaluate audit work papers financial statements and relateddisclosures to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance withapplicablestandards.
* Mentorand coach audit team members providing guidance on technicalmatters professional development and performanceimprovement.
* Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives within the audit functionimplementing best practices tools and technologies to enhanceefficiency andeffectiveness.
* Contributeto the development of firmwide policies procedures andmethodologies to support their modernisation and transformationgoals.
* Stayabreast of regulatory changes emerging trends and industrydevelopments relevant to auditing and accountingstandards.
* Actas the point of contact for the audit team to alleviate pressure onthe audit partner
Requirements
Tobe successful with your application you musthave:
* ACA / ACCAqualified
* Proven experience inexternal auditing within a public accounting firm with a focus onmanaging audit engagements and clientrelationships.
* Strongtechnical knowledge of auditing standards financial reportingrequirements and regulatorycompliance.
* Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability toeffectively interact with clients colleagues and stakeholders atalllevels.
* Demonstratedleadership abilities including the ability to motivate and developteam members drive results and foster a culture of collaborationand continuousimprovement.
* Proficiencyin audit software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with dataanalytics tools is aplus.
* Commitmentto professional development and staying current with industrytrends and bestpractices.
