Sports Coach – Primary School Opportunities
We are looking for an energetic and committed Sports Coach to join our agency and support a range of primary schools across Manchester. This role is ideal for someone eager to work in both mainstream and SEN/SEMH settings while using physical activity to inspire and support pupils.
Work may include delivering PE sessions, supporting lunchtime and after‑school activities, leading small sports‑focused interventions, and working alongside teachers to promote physical development and healthy routines. Many schools will also require support within the classroom, particularly for pupils with additional needs, so a willingness to work flexibly across behaviour, SEN and whole‑class support is important.
This role would suit a sports science graduate, a coach with school‑based experience, or anyone with a strong background in coaching and a passion for working with children. You must be open to varied placements, confident managing behaviour, and able to adapt activities to meet the needs of all learners.
Ideal if you are looking to build experience in education, gain exposure to different school environments, or progress towards TA, Behaviour Mentor, or future teaching pathways.
