Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting? We are seeking a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Salford, starting after the Easter break.
The Role:As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development across the curriculum. You will provide both in-class support and small group interventions, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
* Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
* Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
* Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' wellbeing
* Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience working within a primary school setting
* A good understanding of the primary curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
