Job Title: Brand Manager
Location: Maldon
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 plus profit-related bonus, company car, and company mobile phone
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Sales Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our product range. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
* Driving new sales of Agricultural Machinery
* Managing sales of associated implements from key suppliers
* Negotiating terms and stocking commitments with suppliers
* Promoting and marketing the Agricultural brand
This is a pivotal role where you will combine commercial expertise with leadership, supplier management, and customer relationship skills to deliver outstanding results.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of sales experience, management skills, and agricultural industry knowledge. You will need:
* Proven sales experience, ideally with management responsibilities
* Strong knowledge of the agricultural trade, preferably with experience selling agricultural equipment
* Excellent customer relationship skills, both face-to-face and via phone or email
* Confidence in negotiating terms with suppliers in line with company policy
* Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data, including pivot tables
* Up-to-date IT skills and the ability to work across multiple systems effectively
* High level of discretion and confidentiality
* Strong leadership skills - decisive, motivational, and collaborative
* Ability to mediate, compromise, and work effectively with other departments
* Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
