We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Event Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. A background in driving. You will be required to drive our officers to Ipswich from London, also will be required to do a shift in stadium all relevant training will be given for this. Having an Door Supervisor SIA badge will be advantage. However not needed as all training will be given .
Responsibilities
* Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
* Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
* Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds.
* Maintain clear communication with team members and emergency services when necessary.
* Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a detailed manner.
* Assist in the management of access control systems.
* Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors while enforcing security protocols.
* Collaborate with local law enforcement as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a security role or similar position is preferred.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for handling security equipment.
* Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is an asset.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A valid D1 driving licence is required.
