We are seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Manager/Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, customer service, and salon management. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional removal services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. Your expertise in various techniques, including hair extensions removal will be valued by our team.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, treatments and hair extensions removal tailored to client preferences.
* Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with industry standards and salon policies.
* Use salon software such as PHOREST for appointment scheduling and client management.
* Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
* Mentor junior stylists and assist with training on best practices in hair care and styling techniques.
* Promote retail products effectively through upselling strategies while demonstrating retail math knowledge.
* Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing payments.
* Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions to offer clients innovative services.
Qualifications
* Valid accreditation is required.
* Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs effectively.
* Experience with salon software systems like PHOREST is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a positive client experience.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
