My client is a Leading UK Housebuilder with a reputation for building quality homes nationwide. Due to a significant increase in key projects, the company is now looking for an experienced driven Quantity Surveyor to join their Midlands based Commercial Team to support a variety of residential developments. Reporting to the Commercial manager, you’ll be instrumental in managing costs and securing the financial success of projects.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for:
1. Preparing and managing detailed cost plans, budgets, and forecasts for residential projects
2. Conducting regular valuations and cost reporting to track financial progress.
3. Managing procurement processes and negotiating subcontractor and supplier contracts
4. Identifying and mitigating financial risks throughout the project lifecycle
5. Collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to control costs.
