Dispatch Co-ordinator (12-Month Maternity Cover)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading, growing organisation within the professional coffee solutions sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated Dispatch Co-ordinator to join a dynamic service team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
In this role, you will support the service function, ensuring the smooth coordination of engineers and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will play a key role in managing service requests, maintaining SLAs, and acting as a central point of communication between customers, engineers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and prioritise customer requests in line with agreed SLAs (primarily 24-hour response times)
2. Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring high service standards
3. Schedule engineers and manage workloads efficiently
4. Support the delivery of preventative maintenance plans
5. Provide quotations and coordinate ad hoc or out-of-contract work
6. Handle customer queries and complaints, escalating where necessary
7. Track and manage parts requests to ensure timely ordering
8. Provide customers with updates on job progress and engineer availability
9. Maintain accurate system data for sites and equipment
10. Assist in producing customer and internal reports
About You
11. Previous experience in a service or coordination role is desirable
12. Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills
13. Comfortable using IT systems such as Microsoft Office and service management tools (e.g. SAP, Mobile X)
14. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
15. Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
16. Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn
17. Confident in making decisions and escalating issues where appropriate
18. Willingness to undergo security checks if required
