This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Pipe Fitter located in East London. The Commercial Pipe Fitter will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting pipes, welding and fitting pipes, and ensuring the systems meet safety and regulatory standards. The role involves working with various types of piping materials and requires adherence to project schedules and quality requirements.
Qualifications
* Skills in Pipe, Pipefitting, and Welding
* Experience with Steam and TIG Welding
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant certifications in pipefitting and welding are beneficial
* Previous experience working in commercial environments is an asset
