Are you passionate about Nail Technology and keen to inspire the next generation of professionals? DN Colleges Group is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer in Nail Technology to deliver high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment across our Hair & Beauty curriculum.
You will play a key role in ensuring learners receive an excellent educational experience, supporting their progression into employment or further study. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team within a thriving department.
This is a part‑time position for 29–30 hours per week, worked over four days. We are open to offering flexibility, which can be discussed with the manager during interview.
Actual Salary: £27,600.64- £34,935.60 per annum (29 hours) and £28,552.39- £36,140.28 per annum (30 hours)
Working pattern: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 08.30 - 17.00 and Wednesday 10:30 to 19:00
This is subject to business needs and could change, there may be another late evening, this can be discussed
Essential Criteria
* Relevant Nails and Beauty industry qualification or equivalent.
* Recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
* Strong subject knowledge with the ability to deliver high‑quality teaching across Nail Technology.
* Experience embedding English and maths within lessons.
* Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across a range of Nail and Beauty Therapy courses.
* Act as a course tutor, providing pastoral support and monitoring student attendance, progress, and behaviour.
* Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials in line with quality assurance requirements.
* Use innovative teaching strategies and digital learning tools to enhance the student experience.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, e‑registers and eILPs.
* Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and British Values throughout all teaching and support activities.
* Engage in curriculum development, team meetings, marketing events and student recruitment activities.
