KS1 Teaching Assistant – Doncaster
Location: Doncaster
Start Date: After Easter 2026
Contract: Full-time, until Summer
Pay: £95 per day
Reed Education is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy classroom environment and is ready to make a difference this academic year.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting RWI (Read Write Inc.) phonics groups
* Understanding of SEN strategies and pupil support
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
* A warm, adaptable, and proactive approach
Key Responsibilities
* Support KS1 pupils during phonics, literacy and core curriculum lessons
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
* Assist the class teacher with planning, resources and behaviour support
* Contribute to an inclusive and nurturing learning space
* Provide tailored SEN support where required
