Main duties of the job
The Role
In this leadership position, you will focus on improving the quality of life for autistic children and young people by integrating therapy and educationthrough impactful MDT working. Administrative tasks are kept to a minimum, allowing you to direct your time toworking with focus on integrating therapy and education with the Heads and Senior Leaders in our educational settings, the class-based practitioners, theTherapy Team and thePositive Behaviour Support (PBS) leads.
Together, we will design and implement effective systems and processes that integrate evidence-based therapy and educational practices, ensuring the best outcomes for our pupils and learners.
This position is 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE), with the option to extend to a full-time role by taking on an additional two days of clinical caseload if you are an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech and Language Therapist (SLT). The role can also be based ay any of our sites but will include some travel.

Deliver valid, reliable and proportionate approaches to assess and measure the impact of therapy and PBS
Engage pupils/learners and their parents and carers to inform and refine therapy and PBS services
Manage communication with stakeholders to inform them of the services performance, gather feedback, and collaborate on initiatives that enhance the quality and effectiveness of therapy and PBS provision.

Leadership:
Develop, implement and evaluate the strategic and operational plan for integrated practice across all education settings
Collaborate with the heads of education settings to ensure the model of integrated practice, and the necessary conditions for its implementation, align with the strategic objectives of the settings.
Develop and demonstrate clear outcomes based on effectiveness and quality of integrated practice, setting high expectations and establishing clear objectives for AHP and PBS practice
Present a coherent and accurate account of performance across all services in a form appropriate to key stakeholders
Share and promote the charitys vision of integrated practice with stakeholders, parents and children and young people.
Ensure appropriate financial control of services
Plan and implement necessary changes to adapt to national and local political trends.
Management Responsibility:
Oversee the coordination and delivery of integrated practice across all our education settings, ensuring the skills and expertise of professionals from the different disciplines are fully operationalised to facilitate access to, and progress in, the curriculum in addition to achieving outstanding clinical outcomes.
Co-ordinate quality assurance and monitoring processes to determine and develop the effectiveness and impact of speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and PBS across all settings
Monitor that all Integrated Practice staff have the skills and supervision to operate in a safe, compliant, and competent manner and conform with professional standards.
Work with the AHP recruitment manager to maximise recruitment opportunities
Work with the Admissions Manager to provide support and guidance regarding admissions, fees and tribunals.
Line manage the professional leads
Provide clinical supervision for the lead practitioner for your own professional discipline
Ensure the delegated budget for integrated practice is utilised efficiently to support strategic objectives
