A prestigious school in Winchester is seeking a passionate Chef to join its professional catering team on a full-time, permanent contract - either on a term time or 52-week contract.
The Role
* Prepare fresh, high-quality meals for pupils and staff
* Work across all kitchen sections, including hot kitchen, pastry, larder, desserts, and bakery
* Produce cakes, traybakes, biscuits, and desserts from scratch
* Run kitchen shifts independently (approx. 80 covers daily)
* Support hospitality, functions, receptions, afternoon teas, and special events
* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance
About You
* Experienced Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
* Strong all-round fresh food skills, including pastry
* Confident leading a kitchen shift independently
* Experience in schools, contract catering, hotels, or events desirable
* Organised, reliable, and team-focused

* 40 hours per week
