Office Manager Job Description
Marcilly Recruitment’s UHNW tech client with London offices in Mayfair is seeking a UK Office Manager and Property Manager for their home in Regent’s Park. This is a great opportunity for a more junior candidate to take on a meaty and varied role as an Office & Property Manager for an UHNW family, also taking on project management for any of their UK initiatives and office HR support.
This is a newly created role because the family no longer require a Senior PA in London as they are spending less time in the UK and have decided to expand their PA team internationally. They do still need an Office Manager for the London office though to ensure the smooth day to day running. They are part of a serviced office building in the heart of Mayfair, so there will be a facilities team to liaise with and ground floor reception etc.
It is a team of 15 staff in the London office, who are mostly sales and all self-sufficient. There is a wider team of 45 in the UK and 30 in Europe who will use the London office from time to time.
This is a great opportunity for UHNW exposure as you will manage the family’s beautiful home in Regent’s Park, support the family with lifestyle management when they are in the UK for 3-4 months of the year, and manage any UK based projects on their behalf.
They are looking for a proactive Office & Property Manager with good attention to detail, the ability to work at pace and also use their initiative in quieter periods.
The Head of HR for EMEA has said this person can also support them on the HR side and grow in this area if they so wish.
This is a great opportunity to make the role your own. They are keen to have someone who is eager and hungry to learn, and an Office & Property Manager who is flexible and adaptable to the task at hand because this will be a varied role.
This is office based four days a week with the potential to work from home one day a week.
Role: Office & Property Manager
Salary: £40K - £50K
Benefits: pension, discretionary bonus; 22 days holiday + bank holidays; medical and dental insurance
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5hour week – they are flexible on start and finish time between 9am-6pm – for example either 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm
Location: Mayfair, London
Start date: ideally ASAP but happy to wait a notice period – they will not wait more than six weeks
