What you’ll do Being a Finance Manager is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success – which means you’ll: Owning period end reporting & commentary, challenging/driving insight into key financial lines & KPIs. End to end delivery of We’re Serving P&L. Working with the Senior Leaders across Sales, Operations & Supply Chain to understand & inform drivers of operating costs within their functional areas to draw key insight and drive the business priorities. Support the forecasting, budgeting and planning (ABP) processes ensuring they match the requirements of the business, aligning the key stakeholders around a common view of the facts with clear communication of the risks and opportunities. Develop effective reporting, analysis and insights for stakeholders so that they have the information needed to manage their businesses (NSO reporting/Weekly Reporting/Campaign reporting) We’re Serving Pricing Process – review and gain approvals for pricing updates ensuring correct Business processes are completed in a timely manner. Supports Sales function on new business proposals and retention plans. Support key projects where required such as new machine propositions (namely Podio), and system/data integrity linking in with finance transformation team. Improve visibility and process around key customers and rebate process Who you are It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in: A degree in business / accounting / finance or someone who has part/newly qualified in an accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA) Experience / understanding of financial accounting and control requirements Strong analytical and excel based modelling / reporting capability Proactive, resilient, adaptable and “can-do” team player with a drive to make a difference Experience in the finance team of a multi-site blue chip retailer / FMCG Commercial finance experience supporting an operational director or business unit A track record of analysis, including operational P&L line.
