Multi Plant Operative (Loading Shovel / Material Handler) Location: London, N18 area Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:00 - 00:00 Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing About the Role We are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Multi Plant Operatives to join our client, at their busy waste and recycling facility in Edmonton, North London. This is a hands-on role operating Loading Shovels and Material Handlers within a fast-paced recycling environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe movement, loading, sorting, and processing of waste and recyclable materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Operate Loading Shovels and Material Handlers safely and efficiently Move, load, and process waste and recyclable materials around the site Feed materials into processing equipment as required Maintain stockpiles and loading areas Carry out daily equipment checks and report defects promptly Ensure work is completed in line with site procedures and Health & Safety requirements Maintain a clean and safe working environment Support the wider operations team in achieving daily production targets Requirements: Valid Loading Shovel licence Valid telehandler Driver licence Previous experience operating mobile plant equipment within waste, recycling, aggregates, or similar industries Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work Ability to work effectively within a team and independently What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Weekly pay Ongoing, full-time work Stable Monday to Friday shift pattern Opportunity to work for a leading recycling and resource management company Dedicated account management support If you have experience operating Loading Shovels and Material Handlers and are looking for your next opportunity within the recycling industry, apply today and a member of our team will be in touch.
