We are currently seeking a customer focused Trade Counter Assistant to join our busy Trade Counter based in Nottingham. As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Trade Counter, ensuring customer receive a first class service.
Key responsibilities
* Provide an excellent level of customer service to both new and existing customers
* Proactively engage with customers to identify and maximise sales opportunities
* Accurately process new orders and enquiries
* Confidently communicate product knowledge to support customer needs
* Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking and packing of goods
* Support the Sales Office by answering call, processing and amending orders
Key skills
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a trade or retail environment
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to muti task
* Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
* Experience using ERP systems is advantageous but not essential – full training provide
