Job Opportunity: Legal Secretary (Conveyancing) - Bury St Edmunds Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a passion for conveyancing? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in Bury St Edmunds! Key Responsibilities: Prepare, check, and proofread correspondence under the supervision of a fee earner. Complete legal and company forms, set up documents from precedents, and conduct routine searches. Handle telephone calls when fee earners are engaged or absent, taking accurate messages. Manage diaries for fee earners and arrange appointments via Outlook. Monitor deadlines related to client affairs and notify the relevant fee earner. Maintain client files. Perform general office duties, such as photocopying and filing, both electronically and physically. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience in handling residential and commercial conveyancing transactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management, and legal document production software. Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to deliver outstanding client service. Initiative and independence in managing client matters.
