Job Description
CT Technologists are responsible for:
1. Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient histories.
2. Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including necessary room preparation.
3. Entering patient and exam data accurately into the Radiology Information System.
Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic and interventional images of the body. Qualifications for this position include:
1. 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
2. Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
3. ARRT certification required.
